Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information https://www.truecarbon.in (the "Site") collects from visitors, how it's used, and your rights over it. The Site is operated by CapriTech Global Services Pvt. Ltd. ("TrueCarbon", "we", "us"), Mumbai, India. This policy covers the marketing website only — it does not cover the TrueCarbon dMRV application itself, which is governed by a separate agreement with each customer.

1. Information we collect

The Site does not require an account. We receive what you choose to give us directly, plus standard analytics about how visitors use the Site (see "Cookies and analytics" below):

• Contact / demo request form ( /contact): name, organisation, work email, phone number, solution of interest, timeline, budget and any message you write (phone, timeline and budget are optional). Submitting the form sends these details as an email to truecarbon@ctgs.in, routed through EmailJS, a third-party email-delivery service (see "Third-party links and services" below). We do not store form submissions in a database on this Site — EmailJS transmits the message and does not retain it on our behalf beyond what's needed to deliver it.

2. How we use it

We use the information you provide only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and schedule or run a product demo.
• Follow up about the methodology or solution you asked about.
• Keep internal records of prospective-customer conversations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages get visited, how people arrive at the Site, and general engagement metrics. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address (which Google may truncate or otherwise process), device and browser type, and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally.

Analytics only runs if you say yes. On your first visit we ask for consent before Google Analytics loads at all — nothing is set until you click "Accept" on that banner. If you click "Decline", Analytics never loads for that browser. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page, which reopens the same choice.

Google acts as an independent controller for the data it processes through Analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy for how it handles this data. We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies on this Site.

4. Third-party links and services

Some links on this Site go to third-party services we don't control — WhatsApp (for chat), Calendly (for booking a demo call), and occasionally embedded photography from Unsplash. This Site also uses Google Analytics (see above). The contact form on /contact also uses EmailJS to deliver your message to us by email. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.

5. Data retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the business relationship, and delete or anonymise it on request unless we have a legal reason to retain it longer.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you're located — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email truecarbon@ctgs.in.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information sent to us, but no method of transmission over the internet or email is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information (passwords, payment details, government ID numbers) through the contact form or by email.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
